Come on! A great addition from what I hear of him. Defence is starting to look stronger now with Agger back on form and Jose smashing it straight away.
Its looking good. If we could only sign a back-up striker now. Maybe the departures of Poulsen and Joe Cole to Lille on loan may free up space. Or maybe if we can get the Ngog to Bolton deal finalised Kenny may go in for a striker thats unless Chelsea cop themselves on and offer Sturridge in part exchange for Raul Mereiles.
Relieved he's signed as was getting a little concerned. on a side note, wonder if somebody will have a word with suarez about tweeting it before it was out on the OS, only a minor matter but not part of the liverpool way.
Just looked at his twitter site and its not there now so looks like someone's had a word and he's already taken it down!
Let's not kill the spirit! I'm glad Coates has signed and got Suarez to help him settle. Maybe he got a little excited so tweeted it to wish him luck.
Another good signing and another headache for KK... We are starting to assemble a squad where if you perform well you keep a good un on the bench waiting for his turn... It can only bode well for the future...

It looks a fantastic piece of business..letting Soto go and bringing in Coates just improves upon an already stronger looking squad. With Poulson,Ngog and possibly Cole set to go I still feel we will bring in 1 more (at least) and that will possibly Bellamy although IF merieles goes i would be more than happy to see Sturridge come in as part of the deal.However,I think Raul will stay in the end.
Should be good however a few years ago we had a young argentinian from a club called Banfield which turned out to be a false dawn. I wish this guy all the best though. Just need another wide player with real pace
That lad wasn't an established player of his International squad, this guy has made the CB berth his own for Uruguay and was voted young player of Copa America. Should be a decent buy!
this is great news. As a very exciting young player to add to the squad we now have a full complement of centre halves (4) for this year and we have guys coming up like wisdom, wilson, kelly to take carra's place. For me I'm happy with our goalkeeping, right full, CB, Left full options. Midfield looks decent in the centre, and attacking roles and generally filled to a point. Up front we are still loight on options..... what an effective two transfer windows we've had!
