I know we all predicted mid table this season but bloody hell Malky we didn't mean that's what we actually wanted!!!

Well just when we thought the defence was sorted. What Happens. MM drops Tony Gerrard and we let 6 goals in. Ffs why mend something when its not broken, Turner was slow to get to Chopra, and gave away a penalty last night, we are not good on the eye to watch and we have eff all up top, Gestede is a good prospect, however if his hammy as completely gone then what is the next plan. Once again WHY is Parkin at Doncaster, it just doesnt make sense, he may not be in MM plans but its all we have att and i dont see anything happening on the loan front, if things dont get better it will start to become dire.

Only got to listen to last nights game and the Pen sounded very harsh but on Saturday I was very unimpressed until Kiss came on against Ipswich.
We look a midtable team imho, there's a real lack of 'magic' in our squad.

I totally agree with isawronny our squad doesn't have the depth or resources to be loaning out Parkin. At least we could have a plan B on the bench (yes I do remember that Parkin isn't very good).

I know the record's stuck but we have no pace and no width until our full backs get forward and Taylor doesn't do that very often. On the odd occasions Naylor has played he has been a stronger attacking force, albeit slower.

Steve is right about the lack of magic, we have no players who get bums off seats whenever they get the ball. We can't turn back the clock (and probably don't want to) but the likes of Burke, Bothroyd and Bellers gave us so many bums in the air moments last year that maybe we are a little spoilt however it wouldn't do any harm to have someone to give us some excitement.

C'mon Malky 12 days of the loan window to go, get us someone with a bit of magic, go on, you know you want to.

Couldn't agree more. I will be there regardless but I do not get the same feeling of excitement and anticipation going to our matches as last season. Do you think the fair weather fans will start to fall away?

True Concerned, CCS is a bit like the moon at present - no atmosphere, and will hardly be improved by the visiting Barnsley hordes - not.

Its not going to get any better being more empty is it? I used to sit in the bob bank at Ninian but with 2 little 'uns Im now in the family stand. I always put the lack of atmosphere down to that (and the fact Im not allowed to swear!).

We do of course need something to shout about.

I think the lack of atmosphere for the Ipswich match may have had something to do with the Wales defeat in the morning, However i know we are only 4 points off the playoffs, but i am in the same boat as many, there is little or no flair in the side and i dont think there will be in the forseeable future, MM setup is safety first, so why drop Gerrard, what an inspired bit of management that wasnt and if Turner is in again on Saturday then i will not know what to think. We have bugger all up front really, Earnie/Miller get no service, Gestede looks as if he is injury prone and Parkin's getting to go home for his tea !! There are no loan signings on the horizon and things are starting to look bad imo, i will obviously keep going and so will Tom, as i am no fairweather fan but things need to change as some of MM's signings are not very inspiring.

thats because many of the players in that team are average, worse than last years players no doubt, but its not the best division either as a promoted team are currently first, showing that its an average division too.
