CM 2011 Iphone - TIPS!!

I've downloaded Championship Manager 2011 on Saturday on the iphone and have played it no stop since. Every time I've been Newcastle of course.

Will someone help me (apart from Tash) with the best formation etc to stop me getting sacked before February and any suggestions on realistic transfer targets. As soon as I have a bid accepted for someone tidy then in comes another club and buys them from under my nose!

It's incredibly easy to sign players, I think did a swap deal, L. Best + 7 Mil for Pato, and I got Snjieder relatively cheap
It was a bit funny when I played it.. Brad Friedel was Villa's top scorer with 23 goals, and Anelka won the golden boot with 82 goals?
And I got sacked in January with 1st place in the league because the media hated me
