Newcastle home Win
Crystal Palace away Draw
Sunderland home Win
Arsenal away Defeat
Man Utd home Draw
Watford home Win
Everton away Defeat

Considering that we have only taken 25 points so far, am I clutching at straws with these predictions?

Yup - starting with today, your accumulator is out of the window I suspect but with any luck a home win against Man Utd will add a point to your total

Given palace are in just as poor form as us, could scramble an away win there.

4 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses. But i am the eternal optimist.

I honestly think that on our day any one of those is winnable, other than maybe Arsenal. We could get anything up to about 16 points from that handful. Look at Leicester... And our run is arguably easier.

I'm going to predict 11, though. And if we get wins against both Sunderland and Newcastle we will stay up.

I dream that we could hit 40 points with a following wind. We haven't had much luck at times (like the bar against Man City) and feel we are due some surely. Wins against Sunderland and Newcastle are musts really that takes us to 31. A win at either Palace or West brom makes 34 and then Watford and Man utd at home cold easily yiled another 4 making 38. Could we nick something at The Emirates? - possibly and then Everton away is tough. But a point there and Arsenal makes 40 which surely would be enough.
But like I say, it was a dream!
