Is this the worst transfer in PL History?

£16 Million of utter dross

This signing alone demonstrates how useless Bignose has become at DOF, I know Jenkins is a total imbecile, but i cannot fathom how even he could have completed such a Transfer in paying 16m for a player like Clucas, when he was only worth £5 Million tops.

I don't although I think we paid too much. WOL report says Naughton at fault for first goal and Fer's poor pass for the second. No surprise there then.

 

I don't like singling out one player, but this transfer sums up our summer dealings, and demonstrates how big a hole Jinx has dug the club..........

 

Don't disagree with this but it is a bit unfair singling one player out when from what I saw in the second half he was better than Fer

No. The worst transfer in PL history was selling our reserve left back, Stephen Kingsley to Hull, leaving us with no cover when Olsson got injured. Pathetic from Jenkins.

 

That one was bad too, but it didn't cost us £16 Million...........

I still cannot get over our transfer dealings these last few seasons, Jinx has lost the plot big time, and screwed the Yanks in the bargain also, we are now cannon fodder, word in the PL dressings rooms will be we are an easy 3 points, which will always give our opposition the initiative.........

 

Its not Jinx Phil, Football Manager decides who we sign, that's how the yanks are scouting for players.

In Football manager Clucas is not so bad.

For him to be our record signing is shocking. 16m for a player with no exceptional qualities.

It might be a master stroke by Jenkins. He bought you for buttons, built you up, sold a majority holding for big bucks so he has a wedge in his pocket. If he now runs you into the ground, he can buy you back for buttons and start again (for the love of the club, of course).
