    Mine

    Nottingham Forest

I know I know - midlands rivals blah blah
but that forest team under Clough which won 2 European cups made me have a soft spot for them

    Ironically for me it’s Derby

Not what you’d expect for the first 2 responses!

Fosse, as a mod I think you should seriously be reviewing the membership of Ed and Martin <doh>

I am a Leicester fan I promise, but I was born in Nottingham, am moving to West Bridgford in March and have a girlfriend and late grandfather who are/were very very strong Derby fans.

On top of that, my father and his family are from Liverpool and all support them and Man Utd! (father is a leicester fan thankfully). And a mother who regularly asks how Matty Fryatt played after each game...

Ed, your just making it worse <laugh><laugh><laugh>

My significant other is an ardent Fulham fan so I do also follow them. I'm currently reliving the misery of being in the relegation zone!
Did have a great day at Wembley for the play off final though.

Nothing as controversial as Martin and Ed from me!! I’d say Sheffield United. Not just because I live up here and my mrs is a Blade but they must be unique in the sense that the owner, manager and captain/leading scorer are all Blades. Their squad is also put together on a shoestring and made entirely of British and Irish players. Still they are pushing for auto promotion

I always looked out for the Torquay Utd scores, although nowadays it takes a lot longer to look down the divisions!. Think it goes back to it being the first place I went on holiday many years ago!

Swansea for me ... missus is from a small town midway between Swansea and Neath ... first Xmas we spent together down at her Mums I went to the Boxing day game with one of her brothers ... League 2 ... 1-0 win against Barnet at the old Vetch ground ... their rise from that point was quite remarkable <cheers>

When I was a kid, Albion Rovers ALWAYS finished bottom in the lowest Scottish league. Where are they now? Well after a brief sojourn up the leagues, they are now bottom of the lowest Scottish league. Have always checked their results over the last 60 odd years. Have absolutely no soft spot whatsoever for any team that plays in the English leagues - apart from Barwell that is.
