http://strettynews.com/picture-united-most-watched-team-in-uk/ The list following United (48) is as follows: Arsenal (33), Liverpool (21), Chelsea (8), Newcastle (2), Leicester City (2), Swansea (1) and West Brom (1). Unsurprisingly no sign of City.
How did they come to the conclusion that Leicester and Newcastle dominate the Shetland Isles and the Outer Hebrides? Given that you could fit their combined population into some of the clubs' stadiums, I'm also doubting their relevance.
It's not even a fair comparison, nor does it accurately reflect any of the teams as there are so many variables. But that's Skysports for you!
That's clearly not true. Welsh and Scottish. Oh, and Cornish, for some reason. Basically anywhere with a big bunch of weird separatists.
Scottish? But it's the highlands! It might cover a lot of area, but there's only a few thousand people living up there; same for Cornwall. The Welsh support is far, far larger.
And please guys, no jokes about Spuds fans only being able to watch footy on a TV after the next riots. Totally uncalled for
There's a little patch of blue in SW london, unsurprisingly. Must be those 12 sky subscribers they've got. As for Spurs ..
Would this not be dependant on how many times teams are on Sky? Given Utd are on most weeks (or so it seems) then it's no shock that they are the most watched?
