The Club (who's that then?) are extremely saddened by the situation which has led to supporters demonstrating ahead of and during the 'Boro match. (Not to mention almost every home match this year). Every supporter has a right to voice their opinion (thank you so much ma'am, touches cap), and (the royal) we are determined to do everything we can to work together with supporters to build our relationship with them (teach them to do things Roland's way) and make sure they remain at the heart of the club (buy season tickets).

We would like to thank our supporters for getting behind the team today as we picked up a valuable 3 points in our fight to stay in the Championship.

I think we have the new head of comms to thank for this patronising waffle, which coincides with the protests being televised, and with season tickets being put on sale.

Determined to do everything we can to work together? Man, this just goes on and on. To be honest, this just looks like something to wave to the media after the hatred hit the TV screens yesterday. By all accounts, SKY were very much onside with the protesters, so this just looks like a way of saying 'hey, lets all work together' for the masses, while the reality is that we have had nothing offered except lies and procrastination since that great meeting in november. This may yet be a chance for them to split the fanbase, as the protesters will be enraged by any attempt to engage with the morons who have left us where we are, while snubbing the board will rile the bovril and blanket brigada.
Personally, they have nothing to offer except selling up and moving out. What I want them to do (sack KM, bring in Curbs as Director of Football, Brand new dirction with British experience manager, Roland to be tied up in the stand for every match and forced to watch) and I don't want to negotiate, is way beyond their ability to deliver. Yesterday went well, we got coverage and sympathy, they got egg on their faces. Let's not throw a winning hand by discussions with them - they have noting to offer except lies.

Mel B spent plenty of time flat on her back when she was with the Spice Girls - perfect training for her new role at Charlton.
