Hope they manage to actually fill it with merchandise for the full year http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/club-shop-new-833820.aspx
Sombody told me the club are going to order 15 shirts this season instead of the usual 10....big thinking indeed, the next batch has already been placed too, but to help with the lead up time at Addidas we placed that order 9 months ago! Difficult to blame the club too harshly I guess but its ****ing annoying that people cant buy a swans shirt at Xmas, I mean what the **** was that all about ??
I know it is difficult to get the ordering right, but this is our third season with Addidas, surel they should have learned something from previous years. They never have enough shirts on first drop, people waiting till september in order to get a shirt. None in the shop at Xmas. Just feel it is about time the club start to realise we are in the PL and not league 1 when it comes to the merchendise.
expand the shop....They cant fill the one they have got properly.. too expensive as well you can get cheaper on Ebay and the like...
Agree. We are premier league and should be able to buy a ****ing shirt from day1 to the final day of the season. What they worried about losing out on with unused stock is a drop in the ocean and lets be honest ,the shirt was a real winner in the design phase along with it being centenary year as well!! As said above,we have had problems every year with addidas, time to start to look elsewhere IMO. Will it be a third year in a row we struggle to buy a shirt of our own team ??
Actually this was our second season with them, the third one is to come. But with new sponsors yet to be named, plus this expansion going on its probably the Swans that are holding back not adidas http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-sign-new-adidas-1825276
What really ticks me off is the reduced prices half way through the bl**dy season , it's the same item in September as in December , £70 odd quid for a track suit or a kids mini kit for £15 for example reduced by 57% .We don't all live in the Mayals
