Feel like we need a thread for general club updates - e.g. financials, hierarchy changes, announcements etc - so we can use this thread for it.
Some interesting observations: - Arsenal are up to 7th in the Deloitte Money League 2025 - we overtook Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea in the Premier League, losing only to the two Manchester clubs in terms of higher revenue. - Total club revenue went up by 35% (£604.9m). - The new Emirates Deal also wasn't included in this (£20m per season from 2024/25 onward) Arsenal's wage bill was up massively (39%) to £323m (2023: £235m) in line with revenue over £600m for the first time. Despite wages - still only 53% of revenue - a very impressive set of numbers. Which confirms loads of PSR capacity. Revenue materially higher than Swiss Ramble's forecast but wages also higher.
Also shows how important CL revenue is - we went from 10th in the Deloitte Money League 2024 to 7th in 2025 as a result of B2B qualification. And although I don't agree with him on this, I can sort of see why Pep said that the first 'trophy' of the season is qualifying for the Champions League.
So, apparently we're being charged by the FA for 'surrounding the match official' against Wolves in the 43rd minute... This is such a ****ing stupid directive. How many times does this happen every game and nothing happens? Seems like a sore ego to me because the Lewis-Skelly decision got overturned.
Cause and effect. If the ref hadn't made such a ****ing ridiculous decision, it wouldn't have provoked the reaction.
Seems like ex-Atletico Madrid Sporting Director Andrea Berta is close to taking over as Arsenal's new Sporting Director.
Berta is the one we need. Made soo many smart signings at Athleti. Interesting that we've struggled with the CF position and this is the guy who signed Suarez, Griezmann, Costa, Cunha etc... not to mention Rodri, Oblak, Godin etc...
Yep a very decent signing this. It's clear than Jan window was an abomination, so let's hope this new set up can get us the players we need in the summer.
That's good news. They are clearly a decent coaching outfit. Looking forward to seeing what Berta can bring to the table in terms of signings.
Good to get this lad tied down on a long contract too. Him and Lewis -Skelly are going to be big stars at Arsenal https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c07881gnjg1o please log in to view this image
Would be great to get MLS and Nwaneri tied down soon - they've both been absolutely sensational in their breakthrough seasons, their ceilings are so high.
