I like to do stats at dinnertimes at work. We lose a lot of games and wondered how the teams that have spent at least one season out of the last 4 have performed. Interestingly in the 4 year period any teams that got relegated from the PL have not dropped any further down the pyramid so it made it slightly easier to collate. Now I appreciate that some of the teams have spent more time in the championship but what the table proves beyond doubt is that over the 4 seasons, ourselves and Southampton have lost more games as a %age than any other established premier league team. Only Stoke City can compete with us for this accolade and poor Huddersfield have had to endure more torture in that 4 year period. Granted some of this for both clubs where in the championship. On the winning front it fares little better...... Our win %age over the last 4 seasons is 31% with only Southampton and Brighton winning less and poor Huddersfield again coming top of the crap charts! So when a pundit says we are lucky to have MA and Rafa and Bruce and basically anything along these lines they are talking out of their arses. We along with Southampton and Brighton officially come top of the ****test of the **** charts! Thanks MA!
Mate you know I like you, but your sad numbers aren't really required for us to reach the conclusion that nufc are ****e.
I just don't read or listen to pundits or other fans because it's bad enough as it is without outsiders telling you what it is or isn't like
The thing is this is actually as good as it's ever going to get. I firmly believe that the super league will happen eventually and after that it'll be alot worse than where things are now. For the majority of fans it's pretty much the end as we know things to be. Just a matter of time and it's notable that no new legislation was brought in and that's because the government despite making noises isn't against it.
The whole stats to explain it all. We know we are **** because of under investment. The detail is not relevant at all. We're **** end of story. The degree of that ****ness is not really important.
