They obviously haven't read that Joey is staying this summer and that Gervinho has stated he wants to go to English football this summer.

 

I must say that we seem to be doing everything right in comparison to other clubs on that list.

First of all we seem to be showing common sense in the transfer market by buying young, hungry, talented and value for money players, whilst the likes of Sunderland and others are looking at older players who would demand huge wages, transfer fees and who are usually overrated.

Secondly, we are undergoing a preseason tour in America. Pardew himself said that the club turned down a lucrative offer of playing in the far east in order reap the benefits of an American tour instead. When you look at the other clubs in that list, Manchester United seem to have the same idea as us and are also on tour in America, whereas a lot of other English clubs have settled for the far east and in Sunderland's case they have settled for playing the likes of Conference side York.

Encouraging stuff... I must say!

 

I don't understand how they've mentioned Kevin Gameiro as a potential signing, but they haven't mentioned Gervinho...

 

Strange how they think that all of the people that have not been offered an extension to their contracts are leaving as well.

They are still under contract and we still have to accept the offer.

 

Aye strange that, we ve been heavily linked with him so you would think he would of been mentioned.

 

I have never heard Gervinho's name in the same sentence as Newcastle. Where did you get this info? Who is your contact?
