All the way until the sending off we were doing fine then we have to put Mackie at right back, nobody can defend M'bia for that simply stupid.Say what you like but i blame him for this as the team lost it's balance.

He was playing really well too before his moment of madness and the defence as a unit was looking very solid.Arteta was clearly offside when the ball went in but the ref or linesman didn't spot it so nothing we can do about that.swp should never play again unless were desperate he is simply useless and why doesn't he play Faurlin??.

Ale and Granero took the piss for an hour at Spurs yet since then Faurlin hasn't featured as much as he should WHY??.we had a point in the bag till the sending off that is a fact, happy with the performance but yet again discipline lets us down of which i'm getting increasingly frustrated with.

The next 3 games we simply have to get six points from,no more excuse no more bitching just get on with it otherwise Mr Hughes has proven he doesn't have the know how to get us up the table. My patience is running out and I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Another thing i found perplexing is why not drop Diakete in at right back instead of mackie? as good as Jamie is he is NOT a defender where Samba can drop in there easily.

Can't argue with any of that.

Six points from three games is a massive ask regardless of the opposition.

Agreed about M'bia, thought he was excellent along with the rest of the defence. Traore getting clattered is where it all started going wrong. Granero wasn't great today to put it kindly.

Agree with your post Ade. The gameplan worked a treat today. Frustrate Arsenal and keep it tight until late in the game. Bring on Cisse to hit Arse on the break when they would invitebly chase the winner. All well. Up until Mbia's black out. Good player, but not sure about him. Didn't seem to want to be here in the first place, not sure he can be trusted tbh. In the end Arsenal was very much there for the taking (as the thread earlier pointed out), we might even have done it if we could play with eleven the full 90.
Never slated him before but enough is enough, SWP should never ever start a game for us again. Totally clueless (one good cross apart). He even managed to copy his horendous pass that cost us last year, luckily we got away this time.

Listening on 94.9 and their summary of SWP was 'poor'.

I started a thread pre season wondering whether this might be SWP's season to shine.

I was wrong. It is not. I hope he never plays in the Hoops again.
