Do any of you guys /gals know anything about this annoying program that has suddenly appeared on my laptop. Basically even to get on 606 I have to enter a number or they call it a CAPTCHA? or summat. Before I can get into the website. The only thing I have done was update when prompted a normal update from Toshiba as mine is a Toshiba laptop. Any help appreciated. Ta.
Cloudflare is a Content Delivery Network. Is not on your computer it's what a website sits behind to speed it up and protect it from bots and other things that might otherwise interfere with it. All my websites use cloudflare. Maybe your IP address is on a spam list or the website you want has set strict filters. I'd get a new IP address if I were you (turn off your router for 15 mins or soand then back on)
Sounds a bit dodgy, I'm not that techie unfortunately, but I'd try to get rid! Actually just googled it & it seems to be harmless but if it's annoying you I'd just uninstall it! Something happened with Cloudflare in the last few hours. A game I play online has just sent a message stating that Cloudflare had a massive **** up and the games website is going to go off line in the next few hours, something with the IP address or something it was technical.
Cheers Fella ... I understand now .. When i want to watch Sky sports or UK telly I have to hide my IP and come up in London or the other choice is Southhampton ... So I switched to the other location and it stopped it. and also went to a local IP for Qatar and was fine too. So cheers for the explanation as it just appeared so I automatically assumed it was something I had done.
