OP, if you want to get a thread re-opened, you should contact the relevant moderator by private message rather than opening a new thread like a drama queen.

Leeds is the third biggest city in the country and by far the largest in Yorkshire, as well as effectively being its administrative capital when you look at where companies like Yorkshire Forward are based (and rightly so, since we're the largest financial centre outside London and the biggest city in the North). York was our historic capital and I don't think anyone would deny its importance to the county it's named after. Do you think Germany was a tin-pot country just because the small cities of Bonn and Weimar have at times been its capital?

I agree with your other points. We are also known as the sheepshaggers to a certain Manc club that plays in red.
Henry Tudor, a Welshman who represented Lancashire, did beat the Yorkists in the War of the Roses, not that anyone cares.
