Seems like a good enough cause.

    -------------------------------

George Clooney is released after being arrested and taken away in handcuffs at Sudan protest in Washington.

The 50-year-old actor was arrested after ignoring three warnings not to cross a police line outside the embassy this morning.

Clooney called for an end to the plight of 'innocent children' in Sudan as he was taken into custody.

I actually admire Clooney, he's not in it for the publicity, he obviously feels passionately about this cause and I salute him for it. He never hurt anyone with his protest so good on him <ok>

Clooney could easily have continued his protest without crossing the Police line - not in it for the publicity?

I think theres a great deal of difference between a crowd of troublemakers moaning about big corporations and Bankers and a man making a stand against a country which is engaged in genocide.

Fair play to the ****, he must believe in his cause. I would rather listen to him than that **** Bono.

You think the behaviour of big business and banks should go unprotested? God knows how many lives are kept in what is slavery in another name worldwide due to the actions of the aforementioned criminals.

What Clooney did was "Protest", the Anti Capitalism rallies were not "Protests", they were pre planned riots.
