Yes, I said 'clocks' This is just a reminder about British Summer Time, which happens to happen on sunday 31st March this year. It's very important to some of us Sunderland supporters for obvious reasons . . . . it's Mothers Day Oh, and it's Cup Final day, too, so remember to sort out your clocks, especially if you're travelling by coach on the day . . . . it would be awful if you missed your coach 'cos of a little, but major, cock-up The idea is to keep this thread 'live' to remind anybody that might need reminding as we get nearer to our 'Grand day out'
If you are taking your mother to the cup final you cannot forget !. as my dad used to joke about the dark nights he said "it's getting late early" do they go back or forward by the way.
The way that I've always remembered it is that they go back at the back end of the year . . . . and that was self-taught ingenuity n.b. then it's easy to work out the other one
So what about when you have one of those wall clocks, when you take it off the wall- hook- nail- screw whatever, to put the time forward or back, it take's f...ing some time to put the bastard thing back. Then you check the new time on said clock, and it's not the right time ffs.
Take the cowards way out, like I have. Get one of those 'radio controlled wall clocks'. It all happens automatically.
