Just listening to 5 Live discussing goal line technology.

If Clints goal against Bolton had stood this is how the table would now look:

    Villa 35
    QPR 29
    Blackburn 28
    ----------------
    Wigan 28
    Bolton 27
    Wolves 22

Given there is irrefutible evidence of the goal being scored if we were to go down is it worth appealing to the FA?

Or,as I suspect, am i just clutching at straws!! :emoticon-0106-cryin

For the record, i think we will survive.

You are clutching at straws. There is absolutely no way they will even take another look at what happen in that bolton match. I just hope we will survive despite that "goal"

He knows that as well as ManU-fans who said that that derry/young incident did not affect the result because they were always the better team and would have won anyway.......<doh>

we are due some luck soon or rub of the green, to me this has got to be one of the worst seasons of officiating that i've seen, not only us but rest of prem total crap.

He's not saying we'd have won. The points in his revised league table suggest a drawn game.

I know we have had a whole string of bad luck and poor decisions go against us but I think we used up our entire quota of good luck against Liverpool. The things that will keep us up now is not not good fortune but application, hard work and flexible tactics. On that note does anyone have any thoughts as to how Hughes will tackle ball hogging Swansea? personally I can't see 1 up front working for this one.

I think we have to play 4 2 3 1 otherwise we are liable to be opened up in midfield, but we have to get people up in support of Zamora, I hope it will be up front, Adel and Mackie in particular. This worked well last season against Swansea.

Swords - i didn't say we would have won, drawn or lost...........i was merely pointing out that had the goal stood the end result could have been an additional 1 point to us and 2 less for Bolton.

Given we find ourselves in a mini league with Bolton i think the poor officiating of this game could have massive implications ....that is all!

I just find it amazing that with the technology available and the huge financial implications to clubs like ourselves of pi55 poor officiating that something hasn't been done already.
