we should chuck in a cheeky last minute bid, he's a strong bustling goal scorer, good in the air and can play all the advanced roles.

total bollocks as we wont get anyone in but personally i think he'd be a good shout.

 

I'm a big fan. But with Zamora still out for them, I don't think we have a shot.
Frankly, even if we bring in someone last minute, they'll never be accepted, because they'll be the guy who came in the shadow of heartbreak and treason.

 

Not a bad shout actually, would be good and the only striker we've realistically been linked with who I'd like. Shame it wont happen though.

He wouldnt exactly replace carroll though, would he..?

 

and just what is wrong with signing a reliable goalscorer and a consistent PL performer that won'twant mega bucks?
