Would be incredible but will never ever happen. PL was asked in an interview today and stated he was "way way out of our league". Wages would be way too high even if transfer fee was affordable. Plus I'm sure he is a very sought after player with bigger clubs than ourselves after him (which I doubt we are).

I think if they really believed they could afford his wages and he wanted to come the club would find away of making it happen however seems but a dream. Yep the rumour mill is beginning to get up and running. Should be an interesting off season

Surgeryman the comments about "daft question" etc. I can see how you took personally, but I'm 90% positive that they were directed at the journalist who asked the question that Tipsycanary mentioned, not you. Hopefully you're not too bothered- perfectly reasonable to post something on Sky Sports website. Everyone is happy for you to post this sort of thing, even the more ridiculous rumours like this are a good source for humour!
