For those of you who look upon Ireland as a third world country, [HASHTAG]#whosthethirdworldcountry[/HASHTAG].

11th - Costa Rica
12th - Israel
13th - Austria
14th - United States
15th - Ireland
16th - Germany
17th - Belgium
18th - Luxembourg
19th- UK

Based upon, GDP per capita, healthy life expectancy at birth, freedom to make life choices, generosity and perceptions of corruption. Pre Brexit, the UK is below Belgium and Luxembourg, Costa Rica and Ireland - At least the UK is ranked above Chile in 20th position. Thoughts????

No real surprises in the top ten, the Scandinavian countries always seem to be much more comfortable in their attitude to life. We have a long way to go in the UK before we challenge any of the top ten and are more likely to drop down the table than rise. London is gradually becoming intolerable as a place to live compared to say 30 years ago...

Why not go somewhere else more tolerable to live within the country, ie up North?

The Irish are happy because most of them live in either England or the USA!
