Well apart from Charlton game have not really seen this Clem ball.
I haven't seen much ball in opposition goal either.
All I have seen is sideways passing or pass backwards. Still very little passing forward with pace.
Was not thinking that Clemence might only last till January. But seriously if we lose to Sutton we could be looking at another manager. This time last season somehow Harris stayed on. We did then make some good signings and Harris finally looked like a decent manager. This season we started very well and we're top under Harris although not playing great we got those wins. Most people were thinking we would finish top 7 if not higher but Harris was sacked. As I said very strange timing, we were still 4th I think and 3/4 points off top I believe.
So we do same again and try to bring in some players for Clem ball or bring in a manager who is used to league 2 football in transfer window.
At the moment I can only see us dropping further down the league.

Shock horror - I am about to make a serious point (( in my humble opinion. )) - I know how to walk in a forward direction !
A much as I hate the bloody backwards passing (( and Clemence is much to blame )) - I have to point out that Gills have (allegedly), a 'Director of Football.' - What the Hell is Kenny Jackett doing in all the mess that goes on the pitch?... What ' Direction ' is he providing ?

Surely Mr. J can see that the same failing tactics and formation isn't working... How many more defeats and goalless matches are we to endure before they try something different ?

It might be that Clemence has been left alone to ' coach ' the squad..... OK - if I accept that (( so that I can't blame anyone else for the crap on the pitch )), then my original question become relevant... Or do we have to consider that it's not just Clemence who cannot see the bleedin' obvious ?

I am actually surprised that Gallinson has not had something to say about the situation ....... and, please don't give me the fact that he's merely a businessman - and knows nothing about football...... because

....I too don't 'know' anything about being a football coach - but - I know how to walk in a forward direction - and know that you cannot score goals by continuously passing BACKWARDS.
