so simon clegg is surprised of the criticism being aimed at him. after just watching 5 goals from jordan rhodes tonight it beggars belief that clegg wont hold his hand up and accept that mistakes have been made under his stewardship which could have huge long term rupurcussions.

clegg has been in charge for long enough now and can we really say that he has had any positive influence on our club?

If ME really wants to make a positve change and decision for our club then getting rid of Clegg is essential but even more important is replacing him with an experienced football man.

our ethos a a club can be summed up for me that we are willing to sell jordan rhodes without giving him a chance. yes huddersfield offered decent money for a man who had no experience but they wouldn't stump up with over a million (for a league 1 club especially) if he wasnt held in high regard.
instead we prefer to rely on experienced journey men like priskin, ellington, chopra and scotland (less of a journeyman but you see my point) to score our goals. rhodes loved the club and wanted to stay but keane and now jewell, with clegg at the top are eroding our club into something which has lost all of the appeal which usually endeared us to others.
the sad thing for me is that there is absolutely no sign of anything changing. i saw in the east anglian the article "would relegation be a good thing for ipswich" and i am starting to think that the vital changes which need to be made to see us improve will only come if relegation does happen?
