First clean sheet since october, that's one monkey off our back. An away win on saturday against WBA would be our first since november, and hopefully another monkey off our back. Lets keep the momentum up, you R's!

I am a bit worried by the fact that the baggies got well and truely spanked tonight. RH might look for a reaction from his team on Saturday. WBA really look like a team that are already on their hols. RH might be telling them that they only need one more point to secure survival. They might target us as their best option to achieve this. In fairness the baggies like Fulham and Stoke have been pretty good at home all season. On current form we have nothing to fear but to put it simply away games against ANYBODY are never easy. My head is saying that a draw would be another great point but my heart is saying that we are on a good run and WBA are in freefall. A win and we will be almost there.

We need only one away win. At Hawthorns we have the best possibilility to get it ,but im just slightly concern if we throw in a performance like we did against Sunderland......I just hope with "new" Barton we would get a chance there even WBA are surely coming strong after their helpless performance yesterday.

If Wigan had lost would have taken the pressure off this game a bit (not much). The teams confidence should be over flowing at the moment and I see us taking it forward, onwards and upwards.

West Brom were petty dire at LR. We really should have won that game, so I think the lads will go there knowing they can win it.

They have actually been crap at home until recently were they've won 3 out of 4, against Sunderland (4-0), Chelsea (1-0) and B'burn (3-0). Total home record this season reads 5-2-9, actually worse than our home record which has coincidally improved lately with three wins on the spin, 5-5-7.

Keeping a clean sheet was massive for us last night, the opportunity for the back four to have a few games playing as a unit payed off. They look as though they are starting to understand each others positioning and are more comfortable on the ball.We should be heading to the Hawthorns with nothing to fear and with a great chance of collecting a vital three points. One other factor is whether to bring Derry back in,will he drop Buz and play a more defensive style or will he go for the jugular?

Interesting ? that hammersmith! I rather hope he keeps an unchanged team (I suspect that maybe for the first time this season) and goes for the jugular! At any rate really hope we are going to west brom for 3 points and not parking busses for just one, which may not be enough even if we got it.

Worth noting that we seem to have found a stable defensive set-up and are improving with each game, we stood firm at ManUre despite the best efforts of a crap ref and that stability is beginning to reap dividends. I think Saturday will be a tough test but one we can win...

I think he has to start with the same team. In diakite and Barton we have 2 players who can hold tight and battle and buz's goal and earlier effort proved his value. Last nights midfield had everything. No reason we can't go to w.brom and carry on where we finished up last night.

I'm worried cisse's return might actually rock the boat, not to mention increase the likelihood of us playing with 10 men.

I'd just like to see Buz take a few more free kicks and corners.

Well he ain't back until Spurs as he's still suspended for WBA. Think we need him against Spurs though, as they struggle more when pressed high up the pitch by two strikers. This is of course a job Mackie can do if we choose to play the same eleven again, not a bad impact player to have on the bench Cisse.

An away win on Saturday would put even more pressure on Bolton, who aren't playing this weekend due to Spurs' FA cup match. A win for us would see us 5 points clear of them, with them having 2 games on us (one of which against Villa). This game on saturday is bigger than Wednesday now.

Hopefully WBA are still feeling totally demoralized after their 4 - 0 defeat at Man City. 3 pts for us on Saturday would be massive.
