    Hi All

As many of you know I live down in Dorchester

Fortunately when I go to home games I skirt past the clean air zone (I come in from the airport direction)

However in November my wife and I are staying for 2 nights (at the Bristol Hotel on the Waterfront). So will be venturing into the Clean Air Zone.

I know I have to pay as I drive a diesel, and have checked on the GOV UK website.

I will be driving into Bristol on Friday - the car will remain in the Hotel Car park on Saturday - then will be driving home on Sunday. So do I pay for the days the car is being driven (2) or the number of days it's in the zone (3)?

My assumption is that it's going to be all 3 (unless they have hundreds of cameras inside the zone) - can anyone confirm?

    Thanks - Simon

Think it will be two, as the cameras pick you up when out driving, not entering and leaving. As day two it will be stationary. But could be wrong though.

they have a lot of in and out camera's and they are on all the short cut routes as well as the main ones. THERE IS ALSO a number of within the zone camera's but not as thick in numbers like London. Unfortunately it is not a timed zone it is pretty much 365/24. The issue has been raised by some companies like mine was .. "courier/delivery" .. the charge is for 0001 to 2359 daily so if you went into town at 8pm to a restaurant pub/ nightclub and came out at 0020 thats 2 days.
That is the info we had prior to it being implemented may have changed??????
You could phone City council and ask. A hospital visit was, after lobbying granted as free .. other bits were contested regarding "not fair" ... == ?????
important factor is date of registration my van is 1 week inside the date so exempt!
assume you have put your reg in and checked it .. if it says exempt print screen for a copy!!!
rule for you is drive in any part of a 24 hours and pay a 3 day visit is £27.

Assume busing it to AG if that is your reason for the stay?
