I met Clayton at a corporate event at old Trafford on the 50th anniversary of Munich. He was sound, told me lots of funny stories about him and Robbo getting hammered and turning up for training still drunk..

I remember the 1991 collection of Pro set, Clayton was rare, I had to swap a Gazza, Nigel Spink and Steve Bull for him.
Me and a mate bumped into old pisspoor in a chippy down Pendlebury one sunday evening, while he was still a first teamer and we were pissed. I said nothing but it's fair to say my mate told him in no uncertain terms that he wasn't ****ing good enough to play for us. The words 'you're ****ing ****e' were used once or twice!! He had a nice tan though.
He was actually quite sound. I when pissed up sat on a table at a bar in the mailbox, Angel the villa player was on a table next to us, we sent a drink to his a table and gave him a really gay wave an winked at him.. Think we freaked him out as he ran off.
