Looking at his facebook is in financial difficulties again, obviously mixing with the wrong people. The last time was with a Mr Asaid who I found for him as he's currently studying a post grad at UWE. Don't think he'll have as much luck finding these two though!

"To all my friends, i need your help and i will pay a handsome lump of money if you can help me find either Markus Lang or Brian Thim Pederson. They Are both German and have run of with my money and the car. They had the car on mobile24.de They where based in Hanau just outside Frankfurt.

Please contact me if you think you can help. My email [email protected]"

I hope he gets help, he's obviously in a bad place. The last few years really have been a downward spiral for the man. Very sad.

There was an article in this month's "When Saturday comes" about Claus which outlined the ecten of his problems which started whilst still playing for Saints. He is now working for Norwegian TV where he comments on Enlgish Premierhsip matters. I think he has sorted himself out these days but , as the magazin explains, he did experience some pretty horrific lows. I must admit that I was staggered at the suggestion that recreational taking of drugs was such a problem in football to the extent suggested and more so that this would happen at Southampton which has traditionally seen itself as a "family club."

Curiously, the article on the opposite page also concerns another ex-Saint, ny old neightbour Stuart Ripley who now works as a specialist sports solicitor.
