It's just bleeding crazy, Leicester can sack Ranieri but Bristol City can't afford to let the wonderful Lee Johnson go, what price success and that of brown nosing your owner..

Sad for Ranieri after winning it all last year but it does reflect that they are in results based industry and failure is not an option. Will this opening tempt potential new managers for Ashton Gate to look the other way, rather than pick up our shattered pieces? I tend to think so and it will be interesting to see if Lansdown has the balls to do the same with Lee. Having my doubts on whether the carpet will be pulled out from under LJ though.

the Chinese are honking their boots up at Birmingham ... " oh why did Rowett have to be better than us in a photo" ... he will be gone before 14 march

As Gary Lineker said "After all that Claudio Ranieri has done for Leicester City, to sack him now is inexplicable, unforgivable and gut-wrenchingly sad."
I agree, I think the sport in football in the professional game has been lost. Nothing surprises me in the game anymore.

The point is that it is a results driven business and what you did yesterday is all too easily forgotten, especially in the case of Ranieri.

So, some perspective....Leicester sack arguably their greatest ever manager in order to try and save themselves from a relegation disaster. Bristol City on the other hand, inexplicably stick with a manger who has done absolutely nothing for the club other than avoid relegation last year with someone else's team.

I'm pretty sure this goes way beyond loyalty.

Scary stuff and I wonder what the attraction is between the two of them?
