Clattenburg a ****ing disgrace.

TV replays showed Rooney catch McCarthy on the side of his head with his elbow.

Referee Mark Clattenburg gave a free-kick but Wigan boss Roberto Martinez believed Rooney deserved a red card.

Clattenburg told the FA on Monday that he felt he took the appropriate action, which means the governing body cannot launch disciplinary proceedings against the 25-year-old England forward.

mccarthy should be punished for obstruction. deliberately going out of his way to block rooney. wont get a thick lip next time

 

Having read your "visitors messages" I dont think there is much point in trying to have a sensible discussion about what happened with you.

 

No doubt the FA will ban McCarthy for headbutting Rooney's elbow.

 

And Mark Clattenburg will drive Rooney to the hearing and rim him on the way home.

 

Rooney will get his just desserts, probabley a broken leg with a bit of luck.

 

I hope its his neck, it would take a good shot though.

Rooney should be banned for as long as every other player who has got away with similar things on the pitch.

Obviously what Rooney did was wrong but for rival fans to preach on this while ignoring players of other teams who have got away with the same thing just stinks of bitterness.
