Well if Kirchoff, N,doye and Kone are the best of our dealings I don't hold much hope for the remainder of the season.we've gone and done it again loans and cheapies.
I take it you can give an in depth analysis on each player? I don't know enough about them to write them off other than one is injury prone so please educate me.
Whenever I see threads like this it always takes me back to the 2 blokes sitting in front of me at one match complaining about buying a cheap forward called Kevin Phillips when we should have been in for Clive Mendonca
one in how many I understand you can't judge immediately but this is Sunderland we're talking about our transfer dealings have been a joke for years
I wouldn't sign for us in our current position, any top players have there sights set a bit higher . I would imagine this is the best we can attract and as Bri says, best not to judge. Wait and see them play first.
exactly if they turn out to be donkeys fine but the point is don't judge until they have played in the premier league - you can pay lots of cash for a foreign player and he may not handle the rigors of the premier league alternatively you can pay a small amount and he may fit in straight away (Cabaye is an perfect example)
I get where the OP is coming from, none of these players are 'hidden gems' maybe Kirchoff will be a revelation but they're all fairly well known and one has PL experience. You've obviously got a tight budget, it's better than having nothing to add and you've not got a bad deal in Kone. He's a decent right sided centre half, powerful and strong, good in the air, not so good at sprinting and gets turned by agile players too easily but so does John O'Shea. They're calculated signings in my opinion. If you got rid of a couple of your slugs like Fletcher and maybe got your money back on Lens then you'd possibly be looking at some players Sam's had his eye on for a few years.
We're the most attractive league in the world. All players are wanting their agents to get them a Premier League Club. If the money is right we can attract the same quality as anyone else. Clause's will see players are moved on if we go down. It's no big deal. I don't see any problem attracting players. I'd like to see proper investment but Short won't, but it doesn't to say who we've brought in won't improve us. Judging quality on price a daft thing to do. So many other things go in determining a valuation.
I'm asking what it's based on. Are you new to conversation? It's a ****ing forum ffs. **** thread when you can't draw the OP into debate. Makes it pretty much pointless. Never mind, I'll use your thread to talk to others. You can frig yourself with your empty unclear opinions.
An opinion formed from what though? Normally you have to have facts to base an opinion on. I base my opinion of reserving judgement on having never really seen kone or Kirchhoff and my opinion of n'doye based on seeing him be a handful against us and others for hull. What exactly are you basing your opinion on? Edit: or basically what @Big Funk Allardyce said!
If they`re crap I`ll say so. If they`re good I`ll say so. Until I`ve watched them in action and seen what they can (or can`t) do then it`s impossible for me to decide.
It's one of those threads where he expects everybody to fall in place with his half arsed opinion and if anyone dares to delve into his thinking they're suppression his right to free speech. I've already asked him what he's basing it on and I got that. **** him.
It seems most people can't really judge. The OPs vital info is more important then ever for his thread. Tick tock.
Based on Sunderland's past transfer actions. No the wonder people are leaving this forum, people putting forward reasonable thoughts and being hammered
You say what you want RParka just ignore Nasty Brian, he's just being a big fat bully. Bri, stop bullying people off the forum, let somebody else have a go on the swings. Pack of bastards. Why can't you all be nice like your uncle Terry.
