First class effort and a rightful reward. We were excellent at stopping them playing and equally excellent at counter-attacking. The hunting-down in packs of three were a treat to watch. That's the style me boys. We could actually do this at Wembley this year!!!! Tactically brilliant by MON and Steve Bruce now knows why he was sent on his way. The players he got were fine but getting the team to gell... no way. I was especially pleased to see that Ahmed Elmohammady never got on the pitch and truly hope he never does!!!!! Been sussed, I think!!! Congratulations Sunderland and the live TV curse is gone, I hope.

    We were almost flawless mate.

Very proud of the lads at the minute, long may it continue.

    Where is Sessegnon's contract please!

Steve Bruce has been able to bring in quality players at every club he's managed. His problem is his tactical ineptness and lack of plan B.

MON had every player grafting their socks off for each other today and their is a real sense of self belief.

Simply outstanding. That's the only way I can describe that performance.

The BBC match report goes on about ailing Arsenal and this was just the right time to play them etc - not alot about the Sunderland effort.

On the subject of players being unjustly caned, Ricco was superb today, even without the goal.

He gets **** just for being him, IMO.

Don't you underestimate how much freedom he gives McLean.

He's often 30 yards ahead of Ricco, suggesting he's confident Ricco can handle his station <ok>

    Rubbish.
Ricco gets **** cause he's willing to give it a go where some would hide. He doesn't always get it rite but he always gives 100%.
    He was as usual... Awesome.

Then if we lose the ball McClean runs flat out to get back and get a tackle in, so Ricco can then collect the loose ball. <ok>

I gotta agree, sometimes Ricco looks out of sorts ...... but I dont think there is ANY question that he gives 100% of his ability and his heart seems to be at the club (for now !!). Turner looked out of his depth at times but ..fair play..... the lad is a tryer and I cannat knock him like.

Quarter Final draw tomorrow (hope its Leicester (or anyone at home !!)

    Oh dear you off again?

That is your opinion, as I have mine.
The difference is I'm not going to say RUBBISH to you.
