I must admit to quite liking Top Gear, its contrived to **** but still entertaining...at times. Do I care that he's been sacked? Not really, worse things happen at sea. Question is, were you one of the people who signed the petition?
Never watched it but when I lived for a while with my brother and his mate: all they watched was motorsport and Top Gear. Did nothing for me.
Can't stand the man - opinionated, not especially funny and like many others before him thinks that being edgy is automatically funny. There's people on here who have made me laugh more than that muppet ever will. I actually find it very depressing that so many people signed a eptition to save a man for actions that would see 90% of the population fired on the spot - not that most of them would be in a job anyway as if they spouted the ****e he does they'd have been given their marching orders years ago..
It's another testament to the ability of the British people to pretend that utter ****e is good and leave it on for years past it being clever or relevant. See also; Only Fools & Horses, Last of the Summer Wine, Coronation Street & Blue Peter.
This, nevermind getting the sack the ****er should have been charged for picking on the poor immigrant trying to make his way in a foreign country.
Hopefully he'll now **** off to ITV obscurity and Top Gear will fail without him. Not that I watch BBC or ITV anyway but still.
His shows about auld toys and wine mark him out as a massive **** in this burned-up superstar's book.
The show's well past it's sell by now. Without it's horse faced impresario it'll die a lingering death unless the BBC have the sense to throttle it. Which they won't. They'll probably get Stephen Fry to front it. Actually, that might work.
Watched it a few times, it's ok if your a mind-numbingly boring prick with the personality of a block of Stilton. Sundays are usually spent drinking wine and kissing her quim whilst a ****e movie plays out in the background.
