Lee Clark Kicks Advertising Hoarding In Celebration.

    Birmingham 3-3 Burnley:

Birmingham manager Lee Clark channelled the spirit of Temuri Ketsbaia as he celebrated Federico Macheda's late equaliser against Burnley by kicking an advertising hoarding.

The Blues trailed three times against the second-placed Clarets to earn a valuable point thanks to the on-loan Manchester United striker, who levelled to earn a dramatic 3-3 draw.

It is not the first time the St Andrews hoardings have taken a kicking. Six years ago, then-Arsenal captain William Gallas took out his frustration on them after Birmingham striker James McFadden struck a late leveller.

Clark also hinted he may report James Linington after claiming the referee "mocked" club captain Paul Robinson during the 3-3 draw against Burnley.

He felt the incident - which he said came as the official booked Robinson for for dissent following the Clarets' second goal - took the gloss off a tremendous fightback by his side.

"I was furious and I lost my temper," said the Birmingham boss.
"There seemed to be a bit of an arrogance among the officials and that is not being accepted.
"There was an incident involving (Burnley striker) Danny Ings and Paul Robinson. I thought it was a foul by Ings.
"They scored from the resultant free kick. Paul remonstrated with the referee, who gave Paul a yellow card, but he mocked him about the scoreline at the time. This is totally unacceptable.

"When my captain is fighting for the club and the supporters are backing my team and when I am working as hard as I can to get the results to remain in the league, getting mocked by an official is something I am not going to accept.

"I am not questioning his performance. But he knows what he said and it is not acceptable in any walk of life.
"This was the only downside, and I have to flag it up. It is that it is not acceptable for an official to mock any player at any stage."

Clark also told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I will be wanting to take it further."

Would anybody like to see Clarkie here if Pards left? He always was a bit passionate.

To be honest, this sort of reaction from managers is beginning to get on my mammary glands. Wah wah wah! all the decisions haven't gone our way. Wah wah wah! the ref must be corrupt! Wah wah wah! we can't be allowed to say anything back despite the dog's abuse the ref takes during the match.

Clarkie is a Geordie. He should start acting like one.
