Just thought id get it started. Why do we want a manager who's just been sacked from Huddersfield ? No my friends no. Clark out !
A lot of what's hoping round regarding,' Clark was ****,' is because he isn't there now. When he was they all loved him, well maybe not all but a lot of the ones that's now saying he's ****. Can you believe that there are even Man Utd fans saying Fergie is **** & should go!!!! It's amazing how people turn on their heroes when they're not there anymore! Barmby even has people saying that too, but when he was here they were happy!
Very true. It's a natural reaction for football supporters to hide their disappointment at losing a player or manager by convincing themselves that he was rubbish anyway. As you say some have done that with Barmby.
to be honest i dont know a lot about his managerial career, beyond the fact he went on a crazy unbeaten run which got them nowhere in the end... how long was he even there, did he achieve anything before?
He had coaching and assistant positions at Newcastle and Norwich and i think i read he was highly heard of but basically every young coach was. They reached two consecutive play offs twice losing once in the semi's and once in the final. He got sacked when they where in fourth, to be fair he did spend money but he had the likes of Leeds, Norwich, Swansea, Southampton, Brighton and Peterborough all competing in the years he was with them which where all fairly big clubs with bigger budgets than him. I think he did the best he could but some Huddersfield fans said he played negative football, well OLM knows more about that than me.

NO He's not - I don't want Clark either. As I've said on another thread if it is him I will support him 100%, but I really don't see him as an improvement on NB and I would prefer a manager with Championship experience
Why would Swansea want a manager sacked from Reading where he inherited an excellent team and nearly led them to relegation?
if you've got a few hours of your life to waste just go to this fb page, there's thousands of them (some are **** obviously) http://www.facebook.com/Troll.Football
To be fair thats a pretty good point, alot of managers are probably of a similar standard. Some are in the right place at the right time, have a decent squad and a season where decisions go for them.
The big plus for the next Hull City manager is that we have a very good squad already. With a few minor tweaks we shall have a superb squad. Lee Clark has an excellant playing CV and would get respect for that alone. Ok he is not upto Nicks standard but was still a quality PL proven player. A one year roling contract with a PL promotion bonus and Clark may just deliver. The backroom staff are here already. Clark would not be my first choice but he is much better than most of the names mentioned so far, imo. Harsh to say CLARK OUT when he is not even in.
Arse. Yeah. Hmm wait, no I still prefer the other one, it kinda puts me in the mind that if we get Clark, they could have a point. I mean, Roberto? What did he ever achieve??
Id forgotten i did this one, sorry. I stand by it though. Clark went... was it 43 games unbeaten ? at Udders. And they were only fourth ??? What does that tell us ? Park the bus football, which we don't like do we ? Just remember this thread next season if you will ! Got to admit though, the DeMatteo thing was class
