A few people in the game tipping ollie to go back. Wouldn't be the worst move for him. I thought this was going to be about Max Clark leaving our academy for somewhere like Chesterfield or York, thank ****.
The term "done one" on here is confusing. When I see a thread entitled "XYZ has done one" I am never sure if it means that XYZ has expired or simply resigned until I start reading.
I was hoping it was about Dave Clark. Then we get could see the old Ready Steady Go clips he has the rights to and won't put out. (You may be a bit young to appreciate this one. Stanley O' Google and some others will get it).
I thought the exact same, he's one of best youth players we have at the club, would be stupid letting him go! (Although saying that, we did let Margetts go who seemed to be a great finisher!)
In this context it has always been fine, but, I agree, it was not generally used on obituary threads. There was an occasional maverick who choose not to use RIP, but OLM seems to have made a conscious decision to change the convention. A pity as the posts are usually a mark of respect and 'done one' misses the mark.
Apparently a talentless **** but astute businessman. Can't stand the ****er ... I think it was the white trousers and black shoes that turned me off. Would love to see RSG footage without him "Feeling Glad(ys) All Over."
No better! Those white outfits and black shoes sure look as crap as I remember them to be. I preffered The Barron Knights "Boots and Blisters" piss take of Bits and Pieces. Still, I have to credit Mike Smith - as I recall he could sing.
