Did he watch both incidents on a portable tv in his car whilst drunk-driving again? :emoticon-0108-speec

Or has this rampant self-publicist who shoe-horned himself into the front of the commentators on the Suarez lynching got another agenda? :undecided:

i sense SAF is organising another 'independent' FA panel as we spea:emoticon-0119-puke:k....

Carlisle knows young personally. He is being bias.

Young's dive wasn't even good one. He looks like he's try to jump through a hoop.

Funny how when Utd get accused of diving it is no longer cheating. It's only cheting when SAF says so.

Lost respect for him after his comments on the Suarez-Evra case.

And his latest comments don't help. I've had it with crap ex-footballers thinking they can come out and make stupid comments in a desperate attempt to boost their profile.

Since when has this muppet become the voice of football? I think he should stick to giving lectures at AA meetings at least he knows what he is talking about at them.

"Ashley wouldn't dive because he's my mate and we played together at Watford once" is Carlisle's line of logic - whereas that Andy Carroll...

Same process as that wonderful paragon of virtue Paul McGrath when he condemned Glen Johnson for supporting Suarez, but defended Ron Atkinson after he called Desailly the 'n' word because he used to select black players, ergo he couldn't be a racist.

Perhaps Mcgrath and Carlisle swap ideas over the occassional pint? :emoticon-0167-beer:

There is no debate about Carrolls dive.

Theres the ABU side to the Young story which should be ignored as its highly biased against United and there is the other side which says he went down OTT and was wrong to do so but there was contact and he was fouled.

It's biased against Utd to say that touching (not pulling nor grabbing) but TOUCHING an offside player's shirt is a foul that's worthy of a penalty? Given the way swathes of the national media that would have called for a ducking-stool and burning at the stake had Suarez done it have glossed over it completely I suppose you must be right. Though, as stated, the rules have definitely changed since Rafeal dragged back Pederson in the box when he was clean through and SAF said it wasn't a penalty as Pederson was 'looking for it'. <yikes>

As discussed in another thread, fergie says alot of things to the press in order to win little battles. He undermines his rivals and they all fall for it. Mourinho was good at it though. What he says to the press should always be taken with a pinch of salt. He will always protect his own and condemn rivals. Behind the scenes though you can be sure he has at least a strong word.

He was not fouled. The QPR one was not a foul at all and the Villa one Young conned the ref by making it look like a foul. Its cheating, no matter what way you try to justify it.
