Claimantakinforgan realised pretty much what you would have expected (£100,000). Anyone know / heard where he will be going???

I see Highflyers also purchased, my old fave, Lust For Glory for £235,000. Interesting to see if they race on with her or send her to the old breeding sheds. Myself, I’d dispatch her to the latter.

I have heard she is staying put at Seven Barrows and will be on a racecourse for Mr Henderson very soon

Claimantakinforgan (723)
Consigned by Grech and Parkin
Bought by Highflyer Bloodstock for £100,000

"He will head back to Nicky Henderson's and is actually for a client of David Minton's, although I did the bidding," said Highflyer's Anthony Bromley. "He's a good Saturday horse to have and was one of the Grech and Parkin partnership's flag bearers. It's really good to keep him."

Any idea which client??? Only asking because one client of Mr Minton’s is the 11th richest man in Wales. Cor blimey I’d go giddy if Claimantakinforgan ends up running in his colours from now on.

Going all anecdotal for a moment his horse Bringithomeminty was so called (and I swear I’m not making this up) because the bloodstock agent was ditheriing, prior to the sales, over how much they should potentially pay for that one – then unnamed. The 11th richest man in Wales was getting fed up at this point and simply barked, ‘Just bring it home, Minty’. Hence the name.
