Congrats to all the English teams getting through to the QF's. Good for the English game representing the PL. As for us bitter Europey pot outfits, I'd like to see you get Liverpool. The meltdowns on here will be spectacular whoever loses that one.
Not really fussed who United get. Quite like the idea of playing Ajax, think that would be two good games. Juve vs Barca at some point would be good also.
Gotta fancy Juve for the final. Said on another thread, the way they turned that Atletico tie around (who are usually really tight at the back) says they they can dismantle any team.
Same here, I thought whoever won that tie would go all the way. They just look more solid than anyone else.
They've also got Ronaldo who is just made for the big occasion. He can (and does) turn a game around on his own.
Porto seem like the "easy" route, though people have thought that before and come unstuck. Ajax wouldn't be a huge shock if they knocked another big team out but aren't going to get to the final I reckon. If I was Man City or Liverpool I'd want Tottenham as (with all due respect) they are better teams than Tottenham and they'll know what they are getting, plus (and it's a big plus) there's little travelling. As a back-up I'd want Utd but be wary of how they are now. None of the English clubs want Barca or Juve, hopefully they get each other - that would be ace. My perfect draw would be: Liverpool-Tottenham Man City-Ajax Man Utd - Porto Juve-Barca I suspect all the first names there would go through too...
Unconvinced. Hiag would "predict" Liverpool were going to embarrass themselves and then in the face of a 5-0 thrashing claim that's what he mean. Spurlock would very reasonably say **** happens and then get stoned. I've always found colinlee and Dier Hard to be pretty reasonable to be fair. Now if Liverpool went out to Tottenham, that WOULD be entertaining. Possibly not least from yourself Mr Piskie

Ajax or Porto would be my preferences, seen us play Juve and Barca live already so would be nice to see a different team. Plus, if we draw Ajax I’ll probably hit Dam for the away leg, not been for a few years. I know a few Ajax fans as well so could meet up with them whilst out there. I can see us getting an English side though, I reckon City.

Yeah two of the underdogs who both try to play good football would be an intriguing tie. I'd like to see at least one make the semis too. And the first two ties linked together n same for the latter.
