Never really liked him and couldn't understand all the hype , and his arms look to long for his body when he runs
Not sure - he hasn't looked the same player since the injury. However, you never know what a full pre-season will do for him, so I'll reserve judgement for now.
wasn't a fan from day one - however I'm not going to be pathetic enough to comment on his arms - rather ridiculous - are you perfect or mr universe !?!? arrogant idiot........ The main thing to me was Civelli actually likes to hog the width. He keeps to position. However, I wasn't entirely convinced about too much else. He's over the physical recovery side, however clearly not the mental. Keane + Jewell have done little with the lad.
I suspect not. When he first came to the Club, he looked alright but nothing special. In my view he did get overhyped at the time. If he was going to kick on after his injury i would have expected it to happen by now. I reckon that he'll go back to Argentina.
well i hope it was mean that way ! The general consensus is a NO, two managers agree with this, he's even less in the picture than Peters, its a write-off in my mind. An expensive one financially, as I'd imagine with him coming from Argentina, on a £1 mill deal he'll be on approx £10,000 p /w. Therefore, no club in their right mind would want Civelli on similar money in his current state. He'll get the odd sub appearance during the season, but in my mind its another £500,000 down the toilet until his contract expires and he goes to a random club in Argentina, in 2012.
You never know. We'd all written Lee Martin off. Although he was selfish and wasteful at times he did look a different player after his loan spell.
Why are we banging on about this no hoper? Waste of key strokes if you ask me! There's far more to worry about like the lack of quality signings!
The signings are on course I think... it's really early days on the transfer front. It's July when everyone's back from holidays and international duty that transfers normally start to happen. If we bag Ellington and St Ledger I'd say we only need to look at GK and two midfielders. But hey, Civelli was quality before the injury. If he can regain his form then that's one of our midfielders sorted, because quite rightly he's being written off at the moment.
Well I for one would like to see him make it down here at the fortress PR... Lets get behind him lad n lasses, and stop any barricking
Fence occupied by my over sized buttocks. I simply have not seen enough of the guy to judge whether he can be very good or absolute crap.... (and yes, before you say it JWM, this post probably was a waste of key strokes
He is still fairly young so i'd like to see him given a chance(just so i can see if his arms do look long) off the bench and maybe some early cup games.
Bloody hell, i see the handbags are out again!! Whats the matter with you lot, the weather getting you down? 38 degs here today btw!! Oh and the pool is lovely, been in 3 times today!!
