Parish must start, Fielding has to pay for Saturday. At the back I'd play Carey alongside Flint. Yeh, his legs blah blah, but we need a proven leader back there and equally a player who can organise. No doubt Marv will play and I'd pick Reid, Pack and Bryan for the 4 midfield spots. Up front I'd play Baldock and let JET float. Let's be solid, we have to start somewhere.

went to Ipswich today so I guess they lose their next game! you don't drop the keeper cos he let in 3 goals... marv in for Reid start the same team reid on the bench same as Sat squad
Agree with Shiny, we need 2 up top, especially if JET is falling in to his usual post Autumn pattern. Fielding needs to be benched as his form is awful. Louis Carey could be a shout in the middle of the back 4 to give some experience, although Shorey & O'Conner should be able to provide that. Marv can hold up the midfield (hopefully), and do what he does well, pass to his left or right to the more creative players.
Just think we ought to go on the offensive for this one, Baldock even though has scored well this year plays better with someone alongside him. Marv can drop back into that defence if needed because for all his heading in the wrong directions he has got a good engine to sit in front of the three and drop back into one of the positions vacated when they go forward. Would like to see Pack a bit forward as he can pick out Baldock's runs which I think has been missed a few times.
Only problem with being a CDM, or anchor man you have to be on the ball quite a bit, and Marv has the ball playing skills of a conference player, wouldn't mind seeing Pack a bit deeper because he can actually play, and tackle.
