So we need to get back to winning ways, NB has openingly stated that he wants to win this game. The lads are saying they want to play and we have new (better) player/s in. I'm expecting a strong team, Ipswich have a number of key players out and potentially in a relegation battle. This could be the game we see a few goals and plenty to shout about, so are you going? What crowd and score?
I can't make it but I think a few changes will be made to the starting line up. I think around 13,000 will turn up to see The Tigers win 1-0
Nick said Vito will play and will make a few but not wholesale changes so I'll go with.. Mannone McShane Hobbs Cooper Dudgeon Brady Olofinjana Evans Stewart Fryatt Simpson
If the weather is dry and sunny i expect 10,000 + But City to get a 1-0 win. Save the goals til next week. Team Mannone Rosenoir Chester Hobbs Cooper Olifinjana Dudgeon Garcia Cairney Brady Fryatt 7 subs:- Cracknell(gk) East McShane Dawson Simpson Stewart McLean It would not surprise me to see Nick rest Mckenna and Evans at least from this game.
City to win 2-1 & the crowd just pipping the 10,000 mark. I think i'd rather lose than draw, can't be arsed with replays at all.
Agreed. But a home draw with say Sheffield Utd would be nice in round 4. A bit of local interest and a big crowd.
Mannone Rosenoir Chester Hobbs Dudgeon Olifinjana Harper Simpson Garcia Brady Fryatt Think Barmby will want to let Vito get back to being familiar with the back 4 but give Dawson a rest, I also think he will give Stewart a rest to see if it helps him get back to how he was playing before. If Oli is fit enough to start its an ideal game to him back to "match fitness".
I think a few of you are under estimating tomorrows team. Nick knows how important a win is to team morale and the league. Play a weakened team and risk a fourth defeat and the impact to the next league game or get back on the winning trail? I don't expect many reserves or fringe players.

Im not under estimating at all but think the cup is a distraction we dont need with our small squad and could become costly if we pick up injuries or suspension that effect our league games, so think Nick will try to balance it carefully - yes he wants to win but not at any cost
I'm surprised that some of you think that we will actually score! We are absolute ****e! The worst Ipswich Town team by far in all the 40 years I have supported them! Anyhoo there will be around 900 of us hardy souls making the trip up from Suffolk to witness another miserable defeat!
Good to hear a decent following from the Tractor Boys! **** knows what's got into some City supporters they think they're above supporting their team in the greatest cup competition in the world! Twenty years ago (well a lot less actually) when we were scraping around the lower reaches of Divisions 2,3 and 4 a cup game was treasured our only hope of excitement and an upset. Anyway good luck tomorrow.....not, but hope you enjoy the day and have a safe journey
Would like to see: ----------Mannone-------------- East McShane Cooper Dudgeon -----Cairney Olofinjana---------- ----Garcia Emerton Brady-------- ----------Simpson-------------- Reckon Barmby will only make 3 or 4 changes though.
