    :afro: let's do this.

feeling optimistic here and think we can get a win, Moyes has shown his superiority over Mancini in every match but one between the sides since Mancini took charge.

They are unbeaten at Ethiad in the league since December 2010 when we beat them, can't really remember at the moment but Cahill probably scored.

Baines is injured apparently though we don't know how serious yet but I'm sure that Oviedo ( really don't want Distin at left back ),will do fine there even though Baines will be a miss. I'm just going to assume Mirallas is injured seeing as he weren't on the bench but it would be a great help if he was.

    ---------------------------Howard------------------------
    ------Hibbert------Jagielka----Distin------Oviedo------
    -------------------Gibson------Osman-------------------
    ---------Naismith------Fellaini-------Pienaar-----------
    -----------------------Jelavic----------------------------

would be happy enough with that even though Mirallas in for Naismith would be a huge boost.

    Man City 1-3 Everton

    Fellaini x 2
    Jelavic

I can't see us conceding 3 at home
We haven't been playing well all season but somehow manage to pick points up.
Kompany and Nastasic look like being a top class pairing at the back as 1 goal conceded in the last 6 PL games attest to but as ever when we play Everton we need to match the work rate of the midfield, presumably Osman Fellaini & Gibson,or will suffer the habitual defeat. At least the Aussie little sod isn't there anymore
Wouldn't be surprised to see City play 3 at the back with Clichy out utilising Maicon & Kolorov as wing backs

    Hart
    Zabaleta Kompany Nastasic
    Maicon yaya barry Kolorov
    Tevez Silva
    Dzeko

Of course its going to be our toughest game of the season so far,but im sure Citeh arent relishing the prospect of playing us either.

But Citeh arent exactly firing on all cylinders so i guess its a great time to play them and their defence is still a bit shaky,so we need a big game from Jelavic and Fellani if we are going to sneak this.
Im more likely to think that a draw would be a great result for us,and i think 2-2 would be my prediction.

I wonder if you will be as clinical against them as against us in the 4 4. Everton are due a big win as you are creating chance after chance at the moment.

No I can't see you conceding 3 at home but it's even more unlikely we will keep a clean sheet so the only way we will win is by scoring more goals than you rather than setting out to concede less.

in a sense you've been playing like champions, getting results when not playing particularly well, I think Dzeko deserves some praise for that. I'm sure Kompany will be picking up Fellaini as I'm sure Nastasic has never experienced anything quite like him. I think it will be quite close as I can't see us rolling over for you like some teams do.

Didn't you hear? we've got Cahill on loan for this game especially ;). We have a good record against you though and if it wasn't for that then I wouldn't be this confident.

Also what's happened with Lescott? and is he injured at the moment? Also what do you make of the three at the back system?

I hope so, they're better defensively than you though.

Mirallas is in training, hopefully he gets on the bench at the very least.

Lescotts been injured but because of Nastasic' form can't get a look in,that's the way it goes though
3 at the back needs the wing backs to get back quickly to defend to create a back 5 but with Maicon and Kolorov being preferred in those positions makes it a flawed tactic. With the right personnel I think it would work well

I think Man C Is the most difficult fixture to be fair If you guys arent even playing well you dont concede many and your attacking options are great...Worst place to go In the Prem at the moment Im still hoping for a draw though or for the Everton curse to return to your place...

He's key imo, without him we're lacking real pace & directness.

We can't go there & 'park the bus' as we've been shipping daft goals of late. So we'll have to turn up & have a go, which is the right tactic against City imo, as they're not as solid as they were last year either.

Our record against them is great & we go into the game with no pressure nor expectation, so we'll see.

I'm happy with the point on the whole, but that penalty was bollocks. I thought it was harsh thinking it was giving for Fellaini holding hands with Dzeko but apparently it was something to do with Osman fouling Lescott in the box. Even though I'm pretty sure it was the other way round.

5 points from Arsenal and united at home and City away is good enough though.

Fair result on the whole, penalty was soft but we all get enough poor decisions against us to even itself out.
Chelsea & Wigan away,Everton at home 5 points and still unbeaten so not the end of the world

Penalty was a joke, from yet another clueless official who doesn't understand the game.

Can't be too unhappy with a point there though, given that before Saturday they'd taken 102 out of the last 108 points available at home.

    Wow, thats some home record.

Our performances against the better teams is second to none, but we just dont seem to be able to raise it against the lesser teams(ala Reading etc) Or maybe they raise it against us? Who knows!
