Just reading about Jordan Rhodes scoring five goals in a 6-0 win for Huddersfield last night, reminds me of our Gavin Gordon. Gavin scored a couple of goals in a 3-2 bottom division game win against us for Lincoln City, and so we signed him. Anyone who scored two goals against us in those days were potential signings and typically he never lived up to expectation. However he scored five goals for us in a 7-1 cup win against Brian Talbot`s Rushden and Diamonds in 2001. Back in the sixties the late Derek Tapscott scores 6 in a Welsh Cup 16-0 win against Knighton, but I would have hit a hat trick that day with my bum!
MM - The last person to get a hat trick with his bum was Max Boyce. Derek Brockway was one, I heard Tate and Trundle were the others.........
