We have reported a loss of 15.2M. We owe Asian football investments which is basically King Power 25.6M. The loss is included in the money we owe The accounts show we spent 4M doing up the stadium and training ground, A further 10M spent on transfer fees in the summer And the club spent 16.2M on staff wages Owners have pledged "continued financial support for the foreseeable future."
..thank the lawd for that, wonder what is going to happen when these new laws kick in about the way clubs finance themselves... or is that just for the Premiership ??
I dont agree with owners putting debts against the clubs, if your prepared to spend money but not out your own pocket dont spend it. You cant run up someone elses debts and go your problem mate.
Compared with the vast majority of clubs we are on easy street.. portsmouth ,100 million in debt ,no assets, brum ,transfer embargo, owners on trial...in financial limbo,(and above us), forest, (awaiting their financial fate).. cov...need I say more? leeds, bates...etc.. etc.... I could go on...we are ok...as far as ok goes..
I agree We now have brought the King Power Stadium to the 21st century by adding 2 massive TVs, the club shop has had a massive revamp along with the ticket office. The changing rooms have had a massive much needed makeover. We now have a Category 1 youth academy under the new youth system rules coming into effect next season The training ground is better then most premier league sides We have form very strong links abroad in Thailand through the owners and Sweden through Sven. The playing squad is a very competive squad which has a significant market value We may not have alot of results on the pitch to show for it but off the pitch the results speak for themselves
We posted a loss of 14M when we was in league 1 and still cakewalked it. Was we a utter and total disgrace then
Put it this way any Hull fans that came to the Walkers Stadium last season and are coming to the King Power Stadium later on this month will see a massive different with the stadium. Not all of the money went on the stadium some went on players. We made a 15M loss In a few years time we might be able to get 15M for Jeff Schlupp Thats why its called an investment, were not puring money down a blackhole
Matt Mills has made up with Nigel now We will quite happily throw Chris Weale down the black hole instead. You can contribute by throwing Dele Adebola
We've modelled ourselves on those debt free giants Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool ... and ... now what was that guy's name??????????? .. it's coming to me..... Ridler.... Riddance.... ..bu**er it's on the tip of my tongue (in cheek)
