I think they'll get the goal & GD records this season, they have goals everywhere and depth of squad that the others can only dream about. The 2nd XI would probably qualify for the CL.
Still too early to say for me, if they're still this dominant in mid January then it's time to talk about it imo.
Yesterday could have been a different story if Kompany got a red card. They have the rub of the green at the minute but that won't last, the media can poison that. I think they'll break most goals for sure. They'll win this league either way though, their squad depth can cope with injuries to key players.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they went unbeaten. They are superb. They play with the kind of swagger that United had in the 90s and Arsenal had when Wenger wasn’t a stubborn plum.
What's the records so far? Points - Chelsea 95? Goals - Chelsea 105? I think.... what's the others? Goals looks achievable for sure.
They have to do it over 38 games, not 12. Do it through winter without a break, two games per week for most of the time. They will get injuries, loss of form and Brazilians who want a rest on the beach at home when it's -10°C here. They have had a few seasons of starting well and looking invincible only to fall away. This team might be different; but they might not be. Too early to win anything let alone break records.
well, you've got until mid december, just over a week after they play United at Old Trafford, to decide.
Also there’s a whole load of **** that people miss about that incredible season like only conceding 15 goals all season. Most clean sheets, most wins, etc.
The thing that I have to admit is that they're good to watch too, unlike Pep's Barca team this City team are exciting to watch, unfortunately. Squad depth is the key to these big records, they have a good squad. A Manchester XI would beat anything the rest of the Pl could muster up, for sure.
To be perfectly honest I find it all boring. Too much money in the Prem, killed the game at the higher level. To day Prem football is only watched by a bunch of middle class glory hunters, while the poorer fair weather plastics watch on Sky TV.
That's a tough one... just how the **** would you get Ibra in? Think it'd be City heavy but De Gea and Valencia would be in there certainly.
Valencia ahead of Walker? Yeah I can't see anyone beyond DDG getting in. Pogba and Stormzy on the bench.
