Who in our side is ageing besides Giggs? <erm>

Our first choice defence are all injured but their replacements should improve with experience.

This isn't really a question worthy of debate. As, I said earlier it assumes that the title is already a competition between 2 teams which is a silly as the Radio 5 debate at this time last season as to how soon it would be before Chelsea were declared champions!

I admit most your oldies retired last summer. But Evra and Rio are getting older and more injury prone. I think Carrick and Anderson are just generally below average, I dont even know how old they are.

Anderson is looking quite good to me, but our midfield is still weak.

Anderson seems improved this season, but I still hate him for looking like a fat lady. It's about time he did a Rio/Glen Johnson and got rid of the bloody cornrows.

Ok let me ask it another way..if 2 teams (definately not city or united as some seem to be unable to see passed that) were challenging for the title which philosophy would you rather win,the open cheque book or the mix of youth and experience.

Hello mate. Youth and experience I would prefer. But then the lines drawn are not concrete. We have mixed younth, experience whilst also spending a lot.

You have to spend these days.

Hi mate! Yeah i'v barely been on for the past couple of weeks realy. Are you refering to Stoke as the head to head?

I think this is a huge game for us. With the likes of City and United setting out such huge markers, we must keep picking up the points and cling on for dear life!

I think Stoke might finish as high as seventh, so we need to win!

Both city and the scum played well. Let's be honest. I hate them both but they put the ball in the back of the net. The Arsenal result was a freak. Arsenal missing so many players. The Tottenham result; spurs got found out. I think city will pose the bigger problems long term and it will be difficult for teams to get close to them

It's not fair City have spent all that money, when poor old Kenny hasn't had anything to spend since he took over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Must be just a good manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Good Luck in finishing second.

The hypocrisy from the clubs who have been gorging from the CL trough all these years is astounding.Year after year of milking it leading to no real competition for the European places and now an outsider has dared to mix it with you and you can't take it.
Every club wants a sugar daddy,it's just finding one that isn't like the leeches gillette and hicks or the glazers
Would everton have turned sheikh mansour down?
I don't think so and neither would you so stop talking bollocks

Can't you see the difference between money ( admittedly excessive) generated on the pitch through success in football competitions, and money from outside which has nothing at all to do with the game?
Of course, all top clubs these days need to bring in as much dosh as possible in order to compete and some comes from outside, but teams like Liverpool and Man U attracted investment because of their already established success within the game, not because some megabucks owner chose to have them as part of his empire.
Having said that, can't blame you for taking it.

To be honest I couldn't really give a toss where it comes from,I've spent 30 odd years watching absolute garbage and will now enjoy us being competitive for the first time in my lifetime

Man City but only because the owners may get even bigger expectations and want the PL/CL the following season, only to fail a la Chelsea.

Also think we have enough to beat both teams on the day, as for over the course of the season lets count up the points at the end :)

That as well! Sorry I didn't make it very clear, I meant our head to head in the fantasy football. Looks like I caught you on a bad week. ;)

Although I hope we can get revenge on that horrible cold November evening at the Brittania last year.
