a much better commentary focussing on the game predominantly, and no ancilliatries. nice not to have two ego-maniacs at the healm. quite a refreshing change actually, although the commentary seems a bit biased towards the home team. maybe a shared feed from radio peterboro, but still better than our normal unpopular serving
It was BBC Radio Cambs - not sure why. The summariser was the only one who sounded as if he had been told to try to be balanced in the commentary.
They don't have to be unbiased. It's just 5LSX utilising a local commentary like they did the other week when Burnsy did it.
When listened to matches on there in the past they've always had a Radio 5 guy doing the commentary (plus usually Hignett - giving Hull no credit), so am annoyed I missed Mr Burns - wonder if they will ever dare use him again (as actually never heard any of his match commentaries)
I don't mind Burnsey. Its Swanny who I can't stand, the guy is clueless. Mike White seems really smug and arogant and Matt Dean seems okay, just abit bland.
