The guy in charge of the City merchandise was a speaker at the Senior Tigers today and went through a lot of the new stuff either here now or to come. First team shirts on sale from tomorrow, badge is embroidered on. New training gear and lots of new stuff including a basketball shirt in red based on Michael Jordan when playing for the Bulls but with Hull on instead. Quite a large range which he says is much better quality than in the recent past. Also more retro shirts to come, including the green check from the 90’s. He also showed pictures of some City Hawaiian themed merchandise that should have been here for this summer, but turns out they never arrived as the shipment was stolen by Somalian pirates.
Those Somali pirates are causing massive issues, the shipping times from Asia have more than doubled, as most shipping is going the long way round at the moment.
I wonder what they did with the Hawaiian themed City merchandise. Is there a suburb of Mogadishu where the new gangster uniform is amber and black?

The green and white checked was awful, which is why it was so good. I was the only kid in my street, school, football team that had it. I might have been the only kid in Hull to have it

Do you ship everything OLM or do you air freight? We air freight everything now, its more costly obviously but its much more reliable.
I forgot to mention, the guy also hinted of more retro shirts to come, including THE tiger print shirt.
It doesn’t really effect me, I had one leather loafer shipment from India that ended up six weeks late, but all my other footwear is from Spain and all my clothing comes from Turkey, so it’s all coming by truck.
The TigerCola tee and jumper from last year went under the radar a bit but were decent quality and not as lame as some of the older stuff we've tried to flog. Big white jumper is hard to wear though, especially someone prone to spillages with a beer in hand. Also should have been screen printed rather than vinyl but at least is decent quality on a fairly decent GSM. Saw Marv in the college tee in his interview and jumped on that straight away. Just need a hipster dad/low cap and we're all sorted. Also, simple things like tents socks with a couple of black and amber bands at the top. Or 'Hull City' like the players had for training last year. Club needs to be looking at what people like Art of Football are doing, a premium/streetwear vibe to go alongside some of the more straight up branded stuff and training wear. Needs to be wearable outside of a match day and not just Christmas present tat. Hopefully that second batch of Matchwinner kits is released soon. Although I imagine it will be a fee months away as we have to flog this seasons kits first.
