If we are serious NP for the job of taking city to the prem with SL backing him.

The guy has done it,he knows what is required look where his team is at present.

    No brainer.

Could SL get him that is the question?

Why are people even talking about Paul Tisdale ?

He's a 4th Division Manager who has been at Exeter for 10 years straight.

    Monk for me.
Swansea are on the decline and Monk has contacts who may be available. Yes I know its a long shot for players to swop a struggling Premiership club for a struggling Championship one - but Pearson (my second choice) has all of his players (apart from his sex pest son) still playing for Leicester and doing rather well.

sorry Angelic, bit misleading needed to put in a couple of examples and picked 2 at random changed him to Paulo as someone has mentioned him, you only get 10 chances in the poll and there are currently 30+managers out of work! and of course a few in work might be "approached"

The worst by a very long way on the list is Stuart Pearce.
As for Monk and Sherwood, no bloody thanks.
Very lucky people who were given a chance by the clubs where they played.

We need a manager who knows the Championship, end of and only Pearson fits the bill.

I'd be very happy with Pearson - as long as his son doesn't come anywhere near Bristol......

I went for Pearson ..his record at Leicester
    and
Mowbray in the Coventry seat but unlikely to swap seats. He is typical of most managers except the chosen dozen or so that stay at the same place for 4 or more years, able to turn things around have a good season then fall apart... Cotteril, Mourinho ...
In the past we have lost very useful coaching staff which have helped / brought us players like Caulker we have lost all that. . . .

Whoever he is he'll have to be cheap to fit in with our wage policy.

If you appoint Willie Kirk he could oversee both BC teams and it would free up money for players.
It might make commercial sense to Bristol Sport! :cheesy:

Paul Lambert who recently signed for Blackburn???.

Alex McLeish has done it before but would you want him here? Probably not so let's all vote for Nigel Pearson because he's the last manger we can think off who has got promoted.

I'm going for Stéphane Moulin because he speaks French and he knows Kodjia and just for the hell of it . <whistle>

Tongue in cheek mate, don't fret about it.

Me I personally think Wiz could be onto something Joe Jordan still has property in Bristol and could be tempted to a six month contract if probably pushed for it.

We need a current and proven manager at championship level.
If SL wants to show his intent then push the boat out for the right man.
That man my friends is Nigel Pearson.
P.S he may not be interested but try.

If you are certain about Pearson, tell us why and give some valid points. You can't just say because he done well at one club and everyone should listen to you.
Not saying I'm against the idea of Pearson but you can't just tell everyone Pearsons the man without reasons etc. Even though they are your reasons please share if your this confident.
I'm undecided because I can't put a good enough reason for the one I would like, so I'm staying quiet on my choice.
