Mannion has come to the attention of a number of clubs after impressing in Wimbledon's run to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup this season. The 17-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, excelled in his side's surprise win over Newcastle at St James' Park in January and impressed in the fifth-round defeat to eventual winners Chelsea. The 6ft 3in keeper is yet to make his senior debut for Wimbledon but is a regular in the club's under-21 side, and scouts from clubs higher up the football pyramid have been keeping tabs on his progress. Mannion's form has seen him win a call-up to an England U18s training camp and the teenager is regarded as one the best young prospects in the country. Interesting, seems too random to be bollocks.
